就是说，有些独身者是生来如此的；有些独身者是别人使他们成为独身的；还有些独身者是为了天国的缘故自己成为独身的。谁能接受，就接受吧。”

For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others— and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

Some men are not able to have children because they were born that way. Some have been made that way by other people. Others have chosen to live that way in order to serve the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”

Some are born as eunuchs, some have been made eunuchs by others, and some choose not to marry for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Let anyone accept this who can.”

我愿你们无所挂虑。没有娶妻的，是为主的事挂虑，想怎样叫主喜悦。娶了妻的，是为世上的事挂虑，想怎样叫妻子喜悦。妇人和处女也有分别。没有出嫁的，是为主的事挂虑，要身体、灵魂都圣洁；已经出嫁的，是为世上的事挂虑，想怎样叫丈夫喜悦。我说这话是为你们的益处，不是要牢笼你们，乃是要叫你们行合宜的事，得以殷勤服侍主，没有分心的事。若有人以为自己待他的女儿不合宜，女儿也过了年岁，事又当行，他就可随意办理，不算有罪，叫二人成亲就是了。倘若人心里坚定，没有不得已的事，并且由得自己作主，心里又决定了留下女儿不出嫁，如此行也好。这样看来，叫自己的女儿出嫁是好，不叫她出嫁更是好。

难道我们没有权柄娶信主的姐妹为妻，带着一同往来，仿佛其余的使徒和主的弟兄并矶法一样吗？

与耶和华联合的外邦人不要说：“耶和华必定将我从他民中分别出来。”太监也不要说：“我是枯树。”因为耶和华如此说：“那些谨守我的安息日，拣选我所喜悦的事，持守我约的太监，

并且从你本身所生的众子，其中必有被掳去、在巴比伦王宫里当太监的。”

但这权柄我全没有用过。我写这话，并非要你们这样待我，因为我宁可死也不叫人使我所夸的落了空。
