吾乃語爾、凡忿怒其兄弟者受判；詈兄弟曰「蠢才」者、難免讞院之罰；曰「匪類」者、難免地獄之火。

若爾右目使爾陷罪、應抉而棄之；寧喪百體之一、莫使全身投於冥獄也。

倘爾一手一足、引爾於惡、當斫而棄之；與其手足雙全而委於無盡之火、曷若殘跛而入永生之為愈乎？

耶穌曰：『奚為以善見詢？善者惟一。雖然、爾欲臻於常生、則守誡尚矣。』

故吾人當及時努力、俾得入此安寧；切勿稍存執拗之意、而蹈先人之覆轍也。

夫人雖富有天下、而自喪其靈。何益之有？更將何以贖其靈乎？

倘爾目陷爾於罪、抉之可也；寧具隻眼而進天主之國、莫使具雙目而被拋于火獄；

一切不淨及邪妄之徒、莫得而入；惟錄名於羔羊之生命冊者得入焉。

勸眾堅心、信道勿移、曰：『吾人欲入天主之國、必須經歷多難。』

蓋欲自保其生者、反將失之、惟為予之故、而舍其生者、克保其生。人即富有天下、而喪亡其真我、亦有何益？

耶穌乃謂門徒曰：『我實語爾、難矣哉、富人之進天國也！吾謂駝經鍼孔、較富人之進天國猶易。』
