倘爾一手一足陷爾、則斫而棄之、寧殘與跛入於生、勝於二手二足委永火、

倘爾一手一足陷爾於罪、則斷而去之、寧跛與殘缺入於生、勿兩手兩足投永火、

倘爾一手一足使爾陷於罪、則斷而棄之、爾跛與殘入於生、勝如有兩手兩足而投於永火、

倘爾一手一足、引爾於惡、當斫而棄之；與其手足雙全而委於無盡之火、曷若殘跛而入永生之為愈乎？

If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It would be better to enter the kingdom of heaven with only one hand than go into hell with two hands. It would be better to enter the kingdom of heaven with only one foot than go into hell with two feet. In hell the fire burns forever.

And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.

And if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed or halt, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.

If your hand or your foot causes your downfall, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire.

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast[ them] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

不但如此，我已把万事当作是有损的，因我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。我为他已经丢弃万事，看作粪土，为要赢得基督，并且得以在他里面，不是有自己因律法而得的义，而是有信基督的义，就是基于信，从上帝而来的义，

耶稣听见了，就对他说：“你还缺少一件：要变卖你一切所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；你还要来跟从我。”他听见这些话，就很忧愁，因为他很富有。

他也必喝上帝烈怒的酒；这酒是斟在上帝愤怒的杯中的纯酒。他要在圣天使和羔羊面前，在火与硫磺之中受痛苦。

凡名字没有记在生命册上的人，就被扔进火湖里。

这些人要往永刑里去；那些义人要往永生里去。”

这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。”

“王又要向那左边的说：‘你们这被诅咒的人，离开我！进入那为魔鬼和他的使者所预备的永火里去！

“你的同胞兄弟，或是你的儿女，或是你怀中的妻，或是如同自己性命的朋友，若暗中引诱你，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你和你列祖所不认识的，你四围列国的神明，无论是离你近或离你远，从地这边到地那边，你都不可附和他，也不要听从他。你的眼不可顾惜他，不可怜悯他，也不可袒护他。

他就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路来，用指头尖蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦。’

锡安的罪人都惧怕，战兢抓住不敬虔的人。我们中间有谁能与吞噬的火同住？我们中间有谁能与不灭的火共存呢？

至于胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、淫乱的、行邪术的、拜偶像的和一切说谎话的人，他们将在烧着硫磺的火湖里有份；这是第二次的死。”

你要玷污那雕刻偶像所包的银子和铸造偶像所镀的金子。你要抛弃它们，如抛弃污秽之物；对偶像说：“去吧！”

黑夜已深，白昼将近。所以我们该除去暗昧的行为，带上光明的兵器。

到那日，人必将造来敬拜的金偶像、银偶像抛给田鼠和蝙蝠。耶和华兴起使地大震动的时候，人就进入磐缝和岩隙里，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。

原来，希律为他兄弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故，把约翰抓住绑了，关进监狱，因为约翰曾对他说：“你占有这妇人是不合法的。”

你们要把所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃，为自己造一个新的心和新的灵。以色列家啊，你们为什么要死呢？

“无论什么人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。凡不背着自己的十字架来跟从我的，也不能作我的门徒。

有一大群人到他那里，带着瘸子、盲人、肢残的、聋哑的，和好些别的病人，都放在他脚前，他就治好了他们。于是众人都惊讶，因为看见聋哑的说话，肢残的痊愈，瘸子行走，盲人看见，他们就归荣耀给以色列的上帝。

如果你一只手使你跌倒，就把它砍下来；你缺一只手进入永生，比有两只手落到地狱，入那不灭的火里去还好。
