倘爾一手一足使爾陷於罪、則斷而棄之、爾跛與殘入於生、勝如有兩手兩足而投於永火、

倘爾一手一足、引爾於惡、當斫而棄之；與其手足雙全而委於無盡之火、曷若殘跛而入永生之為愈乎？

耶稣听了就对他说：“你还缺少一件：把你所拥有的一切都卖掉，分给穷人，这样你将有财宝在天上；然后你来跟从我。”那个人听了这些话就变得很忧愁，因为他极其富有。

就要喝神愤怒的酒，就是混合在神震怒之杯中那没有稀释的酒。他将要在圣天使们面前、羔羊面前，在烈火和硫磺中受折磨。

凡是名字没有被记在生命册上的人，都被丢进了火湖里。

“结果这些人将离去，进入永远的刑罚。然而，义人将进入永恒的生命。”

同样，你们当中任何人，如果不向自己所拥有的一切告别，就不能做我的门徒。

那时王要对在左边的人说：‘你们这些被诅咒的人！离开我！进到那已经为魔鬼和他的使者们所预备好的永远的火里去！

就呼唤说：‘我父亚伯拉罕，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路用指头蘸点水，凉一下我的舌头吧，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦！’

罪人在锡安惧怕，不敬虔的人被战兢抓住，说：“我们中间谁能与吞噬之火同住？我们中间谁能与不灭之焰共居？”

但那些胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、淫乱的、行邪术的、拜偶像的，和所有说谎的人，他们的份就在燃烧着烈火和硫磺的湖里。这是第二次的死亡。”

你要羞辱你那些包银的雕像和镀金的铸像，要抛弃它们如同抛弃污秽之物，要对它们说：“给我出去！”

黑夜已深，白昼近了。所以，我们要脱去黑暗的行为，配上光明的兵器。

到那日，人必把那些为敬拜而造的金偶像和银偶像抛给田鼠和蝙蝠；这是为了在耶和华起来震动大地的时候，他们能进入磐石缝、岩隙中，躲避耶和华令人恐惧的面和他威严的荣光。

原来，希律为了他弟弟菲利普的妻子希罗迪娅的缘故，拘捕了约翰，把他捆起来关进监狱。这是因为约翰一直对他说：“你占有这妇人是不可以的。”

神要在烈火中报应那些不认识神的人，以及那些不顺从我们主耶稣福音的人；他们将受到刑罚，就是永远的灭亡，从主面前被隔绝，离开他权能的荣耀。

“如果有人到我这里来，而不恨自己的父亲、母亲、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姐妹，甚至自己的生命，他就不能做我的门徒。凡是不背着自己的十字架来跟从我的，也不能做我的门徒。

有一大群人来到他面前，带着瘸腿的、瞎眼的、残疾的、聋哑的还有许多其他人，把他们放在耶稣脚前；耶稣就使他们痊愈了。结果众人看见聋哑的说话，残疾的康复，瘸腿的行走，瞎眼的看见，都感到惊奇，就荣耀以色列的神。
