“凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里。

但不论谁使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石拴在他脖子上沉到深海里还要惨。

但无论谁使一个信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如拿一块大磨石拴在他的颈项上，把他沉在深海里。

“但无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石，沉到深海里。

但無論誰使一個信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如拿一塊大磨石拴在他的頸項上，把他沉在深海裡。

凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、

若陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、○

凡使此信我之一小子、陷於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸、沈於深海、

苟使信我之一介小子墮入罪中、不如磨石繫頸、沉諸淵海之為愈也。

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

“ What if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? If they do, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and be drowned at the bottom of the sea.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to fall away— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.

“ But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

but whoso shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depth of the sea.

“ But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea!

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and[ that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

“ But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a huge millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the open sea.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea.

「無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，脖子上拴著大磨石，被丟進海裡反而更好。

耶穌對他的門徒們說：「那些使人絆腳的事必然出現，不過使它出現的人有禍了。對他來說，就算脖子上拴著大磨石，被丟到海裡，也比他使這些卑微人中的一個絆倒更好。

所以，我們不要再彼此評斷，倒要下定決心，不給弟兄放下絆跌物或絆腳石。我知道，並且在主耶穌裡深信：沒有一樣東西本身是不潔淨的。只是，如果有人認為什麼是不潔淨的，對他來說，那就是不潔淨的。如果因食物的緣故使你的弟兄憂傷，你就不再是憑著愛行事了。基督已經替他死了，不可因你的食物毀了他。

神既然真是公義的，當主耶穌與他有大能的天使們一起從天上顯現的時候，他就要以患難回報那些加患難給你們的人，也要使你們這些受患難的人與我們一同得到安息。神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；他們將受到刑罰，就是永遠的滅亡，從主面前被隔絕，離開他權能的榮耀。

照樣，你們在天上的父也不願意失去這些卑微人中的一個。

「你們要注意，不可輕視這些卑微人中的一個。我告訴你們：他們的天使在天上常常看見我天父的面。

不過要當心，免得你們的這權利成了軟弱之人的絆跌物。因為，如果有人看見你這有知識的人在偶像的廟裡坐席，難道不就鼓勵了他軟弱的良心，使他也去吃那祭過偶像的食物嗎？這樣，那軟弱的人，就是基督為他而死的那弟兄，就會因你的知識被毀了。當你們這樣對弟兄犯罪，打擊他們軟弱良心的時候，就是對基督犯罪。所以，如果食物使我的弟兄絆倒，我就絕不吃肉直到永遠，免得使我的弟兄絆倒。

「你們不可碰我的受膏者，不可惡待我的先知。」

無論對猶太人、對外邦人，或對神的教會，你們都不可成為絆跌物；要像我那樣，也在一切事上使所有的人喜悅——不求自己的益處，而求多人的益處，好讓他們都能得救。

我們堅強的人，應該擔當不堅強人的軟弱，不求自己的喜悅。我們每個人當為了鄰人的益處讓他喜悅，使他得造就。因為基督不但不求自己的喜悅，反而像經上所記的：「那些責罵你之人的責罵，都落在我身上了。」

萬軍之耶和華宣告：「刀劍哪，醒來吧，攻擊我的牧人，攻擊我鄰近之人！擊打牧人，羊群就四散；我必轉手對付其中弱小的！」

不在吃肉、喝酒、或其他事上使你的弟兄絆倒，這才是好的。

萬軍之耶和華這樣說，為了他的榮耀，他派遣我敵對那些擄奪你們的國家，因為那碰你們的，就是碰他眼中的瞳人。

他問：「主啊，你到底是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。
