“凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里。

“凡使这些信我的小子中的一个跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里。

但无论谁使一个信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如拿一块大磨石拴在他的颈项上，把他沉在深海里。

“但无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石，沉到深海里。

凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。

「但無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石，沉到深海裡。

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、

若陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、○

凡使此信我之一小子、陷於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸、沈於深海、

苟使信我之一介小子墮入罪中、不如磨石繫頸、沉諸淵海之為愈也。

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

“ What if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? If they do, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and be drowned at the bottom of the sea.

“但若有人使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石挂在他脖子上扔到海里还要惨。

耶稣教导门徒说：“引人犯罪的事是免不了的，但引人犯罪的人有祸了。谁使一个卑微的弟兄失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石拴在他脖子上扔到海里还要惨。

所以，我们不可再互相论断，要留心自己的言行，不要绊倒弟兄姊妹。我知道并靠着主耶稣深信，没有什么是不洁净的，但若有人以为某物不洁净，那物对他来说就不洁净。如果你吃的东西令弟兄姊妹不安，你就不是凭爱心行事。你不可因为一点食物而损害基督舍命救赎的人。

上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。当主耶稣和祂大能的天使在烈焰中从天上显现时，祂必使你们这些受苦的人和我们同得安慰，惩罚那些不认识上帝、不听从有关我们主耶稣之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罚就是离开主的面和祂荣耀的权能，永远灭亡。

同样，你们的天父也不愿任何一个卑微的人失丧。

你们切不可轻视任何一位卑微的人。我告诉你们，他们的天使在天上常见我天父的面。

但你们要小心，不要让你们的自由绊倒那些信心软弱的人。如果有人看见你这明白以上道理的人竟然坐在偶像的庙中吃喝，他虽然良心不安，岂不还是会放胆吃献给偶像的祭物吗？这样，你的知识反而令那软弱的人，就是基督舍命救回的弟兄沉沦。你们这样得罪弟兄，伤了他脆弱的良心，就是得罪基督。所以，如果我吃某些食物会令我的弟兄在信仰上跌倒，我就情愿永远不吃，免得令他们跌倒。

说：“不可难为我膏立的人，也不可伤害我的先知。”

不要成为犹太人、希腊人或上帝教会的绊脚石，就像我凡事尽量让人满意，不求自己的好处，只求众人的好处，以便他们可以得救。

我们坚强的人要扶助软弱的人，分担他们的重担，不该只顾自己的喜好。我们每个人都应该为他人着想，建造他人的生命。因为基督并没有专顾自己，正如圣经上说：“辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。”

万军之耶和华说：“刀剑啊，醒来吧，要攻击我的牧人和同伴，要击打牧人，羊群将四散，我必出手攻击小羊。

无论是吃肉、喝酒还是做任何别的事，如果会绊倒别人，就应该一概不做。

万军之耶和华说，祂在彰显荣耀之后要差遣我去那些掳掠你们的国家，因为谁侵害你们，就是侵害祂的瞳仁。

他说：“主啊，你是谁？”那声音说：“我就是你所迫害的耶稣。
