Shouldn’t you have had mercy on the other servant just as I had mercy on you?’

难道你不也该怜悯与你同做奴仆的，像我怜悯了你一样吗？’

你不應當憐恤你的同伴，像我憐恤你嗎？』

你豈不應當憐恤和你同做奴僕的，像我憐恤你麼？」

難道你不也該憐憫與你同做奴僕的，像我憐憫了你一樣嗎？』

不當矜恤同儕、猶我矜恤爾乎、

不當矜恤同僚、亦猶我矜恤爾乎、

爾不當憐同僚如我憐爾乎、

爾不當憐爾同僚、一若予之憐爾乎？」

Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’

And forgive us our sins, just as we also have forgiven those who sin against us.

Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.

Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done.You are the children that God dearly loves. So follow his example.Lead a life of love, just as Christ did. He loved us. He gave himself up for us. He was a sweet- smelling offering and sacrifice to God.

But love your enemies. Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then you will receive a lot in return. And you will be children of the Most High God. He is kind to people who are evil and are not thankful.So have mercy, just as your Father has mercy.

But here is what I tell you. Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.Then you will be children of your Father who is in heaven. He causes his sun to shine on evil people and good people. He sends rain on those who do right and those who don’t.
