耶和华这样说：“我离弃了你们的母亲，休书在哪里呢？或者我的债主中，哪一个是我把你们卖了给他的呢？看哪！你们被卖是因你们的罪孽；你们的母亲被离弃是因你们的过犯。

我对他们说：“我们已尽了我们的能力，把那些卖了给外族人的同胞犹大人买赎回来，而你们还想要出卖你们的同胞，好让我们再把他们买回来吗？”他们都默不作声，无话可说。

如果你买希伯来人作奴仆，他要服事你六年；到第七年他可以自由出去，不必补偿什么。
