Jesus said to him,“ Not seven times, I tell you, but seventy- seven times!

耶穌曰、我所謂非僅於七、乃七十乘七也、

耶穌曰、我告爾、不僅七次、乃七十之七次也、

耶穌曰：『吾語爾不僅七次而已、必也七十倍之七次乎。

Jesus answered,“ I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Jesus said to him,“ I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

“ No, not seven times,” Jesus replied,“ but seventy times seven!

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

“ I tell you, not as many as seven,” Jesus said to him,“ but 70 times seven.

Jesus said to him,“ I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.

“ For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.Therefore, be imitators of God as dearly loved children

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your sins.”

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger.

Give us today our daily bread,and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.

So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

If Cain is to be avenged seven times as much, then Lamech seventy-seven times!”

You will once again have mercy on us; you will conquer our evil deeds; you will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
