“ What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on earth will be locked in heaven. What you unlock on earth will be unlocked in heaven.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

Verily I say unto you, What things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

我要將天國的鑰匙給你；凡你在地上禁止的，在天上也必被禁止；凡你在地上准許的，在天上也必蒙准許。』

你們饒恕誰甚麼，我也饒恕；我所饒恕的、如果我饒恕過甚麼、我是為你們的緣故代表基督而饒恕的，

你們赦免了誰的罪，誰的罪就赦免了；你們留而不赦誰的罪，誰的罪就留而不蒙赦了。』

『你要寫信給在非拉鐵非的教會的使者說：『「那聖而真的、那執有大衛的鑰匙、開了就沒有人能關、關了就沒有人能開的、這麼說：我知道你的行為（你看，我已經賜給你一個敞開的門在你面前，是沒有人能關的）。你有一點能力，曾遵守我的道，沒有否認我的名。

你們聚集的時候，我的心靈、帶着我們主耶穌的權能、也一同聚集，把這樣的人放給撒但，去讓他的肉體死滅，好讓他的靈在主的日子得以獲救。

寫信、經他們手帶去，說：『做使徒和長老的弟兄們、給在安提阿、敍利亞、基利家一帶外國中的弟兄們請安。我們既聽說我們中間有幾個人用言論去攪亂你們，撤壞你們的心；其實我們並沒有訓諭他們；我們就同心合意、定意揀選人，差他們、同我們親愛的巴拿巴和保羅、去見你們；這兩位是為我主耶穌基督的名、不惜捨棄性命的人。我們就差遣猶大和西拉，他們要親口報告同樣的事。因為聖靈和我們定意、不把更大的重擔放在你們身上，只提這些必須作的事：就是禁喫祭偶像的東西和血、跟勒死的動物，又禁戒淫亂：這幾件，請你們自己禁絕不犯，好好地實行。願你們安康！』他們既被差遣，就下安提阿，聚集了會眾，把信遞交給他們。眾人宣讀了，就因着鼓勵的話而歡喜。
