“ Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

“ What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on earth will be locked in heaven. What you unlock on earth will be unlocked in heaven.

Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.

Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

“ Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Verily I say unto you, What things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I assure you: Whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.

“ I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

我要把天國的鑰匙給你，你在地上捆綁的，在天上也被捆綁；你在地上釋放的，在天上也被釋放。”

你們饒恕誰，我也饒恕誰；我所饒恕了的（如果我饒恕過甚麼），是為了你們在基督面前饒恕的，

你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就得赦免；你們不赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就不得赦免。”

“你要寫信給在非拉鐵非教會的使者，說：‘那聖潔的、真實的，拿著大衛的鑰匙，開了就沒有人能關，關了就沒有人能開的（“拿著大衛的鑰匙……沒有人能開的”引自賽22:22），這樣說：我知道你的行為，看哪！我已經在你面前給你一道開著的門，是沒有人能關的；因為你有一點點力量，也遵守我的道，沒有否認我的名。

就是當你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚集在一起，我的靈在那裡，我們主耶穌的權能也同在的時候，要把這樣的人交給撒但，敗壞他的身體，使他的靈魂在主的日子可以得救。

於是寫信給他們帶去，信上說：“使徒和作長老的弟兄們，向安提阿、敘利亞、基利家的外族眾弟兄問安。我們聽說有人從我們這裡出去，說了一些話攪擾你們，使你們心裡不安，其實我們並沒有吩咐他們。因此，我們一致同意，選派一些人跟我們親愛的巴拿巴和保羅去見你們，這兩個人為了我們主耶穌基督的名，曾經把性命置之度外。我們派了猶大和西拉一同去，他們也會親口述說這些事。聖靈和我們都同意，不把別的重擔加在你們身上，然而有幾件事是重要的，就是禁戒祭過偶像的食物、血、勒死的牲畜和淫亂。這些事你們若能保守自己不作，那就好了。祝你們平安！”他們受了差派，下安提阿去，集合了眾人，就把書信交上。眾人讀了，因信上的勸勉，就感到欣慰。
