若得之、我誠告爾、其為此一羊喜、較不迷失之九十九羊喜尤大、

如能獲之、我實語爾、彼為此羊而喜、有逾於其未失之九十九者焉？

And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety- nine that did not wander off.

What I’m about to tell you is true. If he finds that sheep, he is happier about the one than about the 99 that didn’t wander off.

And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.

And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety nine that didn’t wander away!

And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over that sheep more than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

And if it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety nine that have not gone astray.

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee[ is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.Say not ye, There are yet four months, and[ then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Who[ is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth[ in] mercy.

For[ as] a young man marrieth a virgin,[ so] shall thy sons marry thee: and[ as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride,[ so] shall thy God rejoice over thee.

And when he hath found[ it], he layeth[ it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.And when he cometh home, he calleth together[ his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find[ it]?And when she hath found[ it], she calleth[ her] friends and[ her] neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill[ it]; and let us eat, and be merry:For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

He shall see of the travail of his soul,[ and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
