“ See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

“ See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones. Here is what I tell you. Their angels in heaven are always with my Father who is in heaven.

See that ye despise not one of these little ones: for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

For He will give His angels orders concerning you, To protect you in all your ways.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to provide service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

And he said,“ Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are greater than those who are with them.”Then Elisha prayed and said,“ Lord, please, open his eyes so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near Peter, and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter’s side and woke him, saying,“ Get up quickly.” And his chains fell off his hands.And the angel said to him,“ Put on your belt and strap on your sandals.” And he did so. And he* said to him,“ Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.”And he went out and continued to follow, and yet he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.Now when they had passed the first and second guard, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which opened for them by itself; and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.When Peter came to himself, he said,“ Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”

Now as Jacob went on his way, the angels of God met him.And when he saw them, Jacob said,“ This is God’s camp.” So he named that place Mahanaim.

About the ninth hour of the day he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God who had just come in and said to him,“ Cornelius!”

And Micaiah said,“ Therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the angels of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His left.

For who has shown contempt for the day of small things? But these seven will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel— they are the eyes of the Lord roaming throughout the earth.”

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.

To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak; I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some.

Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

The angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

and were close to him, namely, Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven officials of Persia and Media who had access to the king’s presence and sat in the first place in the kingdom—

A bent reed He will not break off, And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish, Until He leads justice to victory.

But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and leading them out, he said,

“ Awake, sword, against My Shepherd, And against the Man, My Associate,” Declares the Lord of armies.“ Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

Now Absalom lived two full years in Jerusalem, yet he did not see the king’s face.

And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.

So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish.

But as for you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you as well, why do you regard your brother or sister with contempt? For we will all appear before the judgment seat of God.

Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,“ Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”

But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,

They said to her,“ You are out of your mind!” But she kept insisting that it was so. They said,“ It is his angel.”

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.One person has faith that he may eat all things, but the one who is weak eats only vegetables.The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.

But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,“ Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried.

What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What am I to say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I do not praise you.

It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother or sister stumbles.

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ— I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!

So do not look down on him, anyone. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves.

Now food will not bring us close to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.But take care that this freedom of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.For if someone sees you, the one who has knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, will his conscience, if he is weak, not be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols?For through your knowledge the one who is weak is ruined, the brother or sister for whose sake Christ died.And so, by sinning against the brothers and sisters and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.Therefore, if food causes my brother to sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to sin.

Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way.I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to the one who thinks something is unclean, to that person it is unclean.For if because of food your brother or sister is hurt, you are no longer walking in accordance with love. Do not destroy with your choice of food that person for whom Christ died.

For they say,“ His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible.”

“ The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; but the one who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong, whom I also serve, came to me,

but you know that it was because of a bodily illness that I preached the gospel to you the first time;and you did not despise that which was a trial to you in my bodily condition, nor express contempt, but you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself.

Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well.

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
