Even so shall the Son of man also suffer of them.Then understood the disciples that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away:how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory?For if the ministration of condemnation hath glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.For verily that which hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasseth.For if that which passeth away was with glory, much more that which remaineth is in glory.

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the sojourners of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel, liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth- peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

The law and the prophets were until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.

And he shall go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to walk in the wisdom of the just; to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.

Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, on whom ye have set your hope.For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote of me.But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, even Jesus;who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house.For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken;but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.And if ye are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, that is to come.
