我虽然是自由之身，不受任何人支配，但我甘愿成为众人的奴仆，为了要得到更多的人。面对犹太人我就做犹太人，为了要赢得犹太人。面对守律法的人，我这不受律法束缚的人就守律法，为了要赢得守律法的人。面对没有律法的人，我就像个没有律法的人，为了要赢得没有律法的人。其实我并非在上帝的律法之外，我是在基督的律法之下。面对软弱的人我就做软弱的人，为了要得软弱的人。面对什么人，我就做什么人，为了要尽可能地救一些人。

但你们要小心，不要让你们的自由绊倒那些信心软弱的人。

为了避免有人毁谤我们的职分，我们凡事尽量不妨碍别人，

因为你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典，祂本来富足，却为你们的缘故变得贫穷，使你们借着祂的贫穷可以变得富足。

无论是吃肉、喝酒还是做任何别的事，如果会绊倒别人，就应该一概不做。

所以，如果我吃某些食物会令我的弟兄在信仰上跌倒，我就情愿永远不吃，免得令他们跌倒。

空中的鸟、海里的鱼及其他水族。

我们坚强的人要扶助软弱的人，分担他们的重担，不该只顾自己的喜好。我们每个人都应该为他人着想，建造他人的生命。因为基督并没有专顾自己，正如圣经上说：“辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。”

你可以喝基立溪的水，我已吩咐乌鸦在那里供应你食物。”

门徒上前对祂说：“你知道吗？法利赛人听见你的话很反感。”耶稣回答说：“凡不是我天父栽种的都要被连根拔起来。随便他们吧！他们是瞎眼的向导。瞎子给瞎子领路，二人都会掉进坑里。”

耶和华安排了一条大鱼，把约拿吞下，他在鱼腹里度过三天三夜。

上帝赐福给他们，对他们说：“你们要生养众多，遍布地面，治理大地，管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟以及地上的各种动物。”

不要成为犹太人、希腊人或上帝教会的绊脚石，就像我凡事尽量让人满意，不求自己的好处，只求众人的好处，以便他们可以得救。

我亲爱的弟兄姊妹，请听我说，上帝不是拣选了穷人，使他们在信心上富足，并承受祂应许赐给那些爱祂之人的国度吗？

于是，耶和华命令那条鱼，鱼就把约拿吐到陆地上。

杜绝所有的恶事。

耶稣知道门徒在议论，就说：“这话叫你们失去信心吗？

你使他暂时比天使低微一点，赐他荣耀和尊贵作冠冕，派他管理你所造的一切，使万物降服在他脚下。”既说叫万物都降服在人的管理之下，就没有一样例外。不过，我们到现在还没有看到万物都降服在人的管理之下，

你自己要在各样的善行上做众人的榜样，在教导上要诚恳、认真、言语纯全、无可指责，让那些反对的人无话可说、自觉羞愧。
