我實在告訴你們，站在這裏的，有人在沒經歷死亡以前，必定看見人子來到他的國裏。」

他們離開那地方，經過加利利；耶穌不願意人知道，因為他正教導門徒說：「人子將要被交在人手裏，他們要殺害他；被殺以後，三天後他要復活。」門徒卻不明白這話，又不敢問他。

「你們要把這些話聽進去，因為人子將要被交在人手裏。」門徒卻不明白這話，其中的意思對他們隱藏着，使他們不能明白，他們也不敢問這話的意思。

他不在這裏，已經復活了。要記得他還在加利利的時候怎樣告訴你們的，他說：『人子必須被交在罪人手裏，釘在十字架上，第三天復活。』」

又對他們說：「照經上所寫的，基督必受害，第三天從死人中復活，

從那時候起，他就找機會要把耶穌交給他們。

說：「看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子將被交給祭司長和文士；他們要定他死罪，又交給外邦人。他們要戲弄他，向他吐唾沫，鞭打他，殺害他；三天後，他要復活。」
