当众人聚集的时候，耶稣开讲说：“这世代是一个邪恶的世代。他们求看神迹，除了约拿的神迹以外，再没有神迹给他们看。约拿怎样为尼尼微人成了神迹，人子也要照样为这世代的人成了神迹。

耶稣回答说：“一个邪恶淫乱的世代求看神迹，除了先知约拿的神迹以外，再没有神迹给他们看。约拿三日三夜在大鱼肚腹中，人子也要这样三日三夜在地里头。

耶和华安排一条大鱼吞了约拿，他在鱼腹中三日三夜。

凡在这淫乱罪恶的世代，把我和我的道当作可耻的，人子在他父的荣耀里，同圣天使降临的时候，也要把那人当作可耻的。”

众人就央求耶稣离开他们的境界。耶稣上船的时候，那从前被鬼附着的人恳求和耶稣同在。

纵然养大儿女，我却必使他们丧子，甚至不留一个。我离弃他们，他们就有祸了。”

耶稣心里深深地叹息，说：“这世代为什么求神迹呢？我实在告诉你们，没有神迹给这世代看。”

任凭他们吧！他们是瞎眼领路的；若是瞎子领瞎子，两个人都要掉在坑里。”

“以法莲亲近偶像，任凭他吧！

他们既抗拒、毁谤，保罗就抖着衣裳，说：“你们的罪归到你们自己头上，与我无干。从今以后，我要往外邦人那里去。”

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的日子还可到一百二十年。”

彼得还用许多话作见证，劝勉他们说：“你们当救自己脱离这弯曲的世代。”
