But he turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

耶稣转过来对彼得说：“撒但！退到我后面去！你是绊脚石，因为你不思念神的事，只思念人的事。”

但耶稣转身对彼得说：“撒旦，退到我后面去！你是我的绊脚石，因为你不是思想神的事，而是思想人的事。”

耶穌轉過來，對彼得說：「撒但，退我後邊去吧！你是絆我腳的；因為你不體貼神的意思，只體貼人的意思。」

耶穌轉過來，對彼得說：「撒但，退到我後邊去！你是我的絆腳石，因為你不體會上帝的心意，而是體會人的意思。」

但耶穌轉身對彼得說：「撒旦，退到我後面去！你是我的絆腳石，因為你不是思想神的事，而是思想人的事。」

耶穌顧彼得謂之曰、撒但退、爾阻我、因爾不念天主之事、乃念人之事也、

耶穌顧謂伯鐸祿曰：『沙殫退去！汝為我梗。汝但體人情、不體天意。』

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are standing in my way. You do not have in mind the things God cares about. Instead, you only have in mind the things humans care about.”

Jesus turned to Peter and said,“ Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

Jesus turned and told Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

But He turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but men’s.”

But He turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling- block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

But He turned and told Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s.”

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

But he turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

But he turned, and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”

Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.

Then Jesus said to him,“ Be gone, Satan! For it is written,“‘ You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

Jesus answered them,“ Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”

Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.And the Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?”

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

And Jesus answered him,“ It is written,“‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

But David said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should this day be as an adversary to me? Shall anyone be put to death in Israel this day? For do I not know that I am this day king over Israel?”

Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God actually say,‘ You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”And the woman said to the serpent,“ We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden,but God said,‘ You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”But the serpent said to the woman,“ You will not surely die.For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

And to Adam he said,“ Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you,‘ You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;

And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.

“ Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!
