But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling- block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

耶穌轉過來，對彼得說：「撒但，退我後邊去吧！你是絆我腳的；因為你不體貼神的意思，只體貼人的意思。」

耶穌轉過來，對彼得說：「撒但，退到我後邊去！你是我的絆腳石，因為你不體會上帝的心意，而是體會人的意思。」

耶穌轉過身來，對彼得說：『撒但退去！你是我的障礙；因為你不意念着上帝的事，卻意念着人的事。』

但耶穌轉身對彼得說：「撒旦，退到我後面去！你是我的絆腳石，因為你不是思想神的事，而是思想人的事。」

耶穌顧彼得謂之曰、撒但退、爾阻我、因爾不念天主之事、乃念人之事也、

耶穌顧謂伯鐸祿曰：『沙殫退去！汝為我梗。汝但體人情、不體天意。』

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are standing in my way. You do not have in mind the things God cares about. Instead, you only have in mind the things humans care about.”

But he turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Jesus turned to Peter and said,“ Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

Jesus turned and told Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

But He turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but men’s.”

But He turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

But He turned and told Peter,“ Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s.”

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Jesus answered them, Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge ye this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock in his brother’s way, or an occasion of falling.

And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?

And Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat:but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil.And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in toil shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything whereby thy brother stumbleth.

Woe unto the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must needs be that the occasions come; but woe to that man through whom the occasion cometh!
