Jesus responded,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.

耶稣对他说：“约拿的儿子西门，你是蒙福的，因为这不是任何人启示你的，而是我在天上的父启示你的。

耶穌對他說：「約拿的兒子西門，你是蒙福的，因為這不是任何人啟示你的，而是我在天上的父啟示你的。

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿福矣、蓋非有血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父也、

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿、福矣、以有血氣者不示爾、乃吾天父示之也、

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿、爾福矣、蓋非屬血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父示爾也、

耶穌曰：『福哉若納子西門：蓋以此啟汝者、非屬血氣肉情；在天吾父、實牖爾衷。

Jesus replied,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

Jesus replied,“ Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah! No mere human showed this to you. My Father in heaven showed it to you.

And Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus replied,“ You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

And Jesus said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar- Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

And Jesus responded,“ Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed[ it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And Jesus answered him,“ You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!

Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

It is written in the Prophets: And they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to me—

to reveal his Son in me, so that I could preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants.Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

For I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin.For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

“ Blessed are your eyes because they do see, and your ears because they do hear.For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see the things you see but didn’t see them, to hear the things you hear but didn’t hear them.

What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruption.

“ I have revealed your name to the people you gave me from the world. They were yours, you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.Now they know that everything you have given me is from you,because I have given them the words you gave me. They have received them and have known for certain that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

At that time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him.”Then turning to his disciples he said privately,“ Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see!For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see but didn’t see them; to hear the things you hear but didn’t hear them.”

and he brought Simon to Jesus. When Jesus saw him, he said,“ You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which is translated“ Peter”).

Then all your children will be taught by the LORD, their prosperity will be great,

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Feed my lambs,” he told him.A second time he asked him,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Shepherd my sheep,” he told him.He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved that he asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.”“ Feed my sheep,” Jesus said.

This was not made known to people in other generations as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:

But as it is written, What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived— God has prepared these things for those who love him.Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who knows a person’s thoughts except his spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.

I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—

Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death— that is, the devil—

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the deadand into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.You are being guarded by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Blessed are the humble, for they will inherit the earth.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.“ You are blessed when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of me.
