Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them,“ Who do men say that I am?”So they answered,“ John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.”He said to them,“ But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said to Him,“ You are the Christ.”

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”— then He said to the paralytic,“ Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

And He said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

“ When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

He answered and said to them:“ He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

and said,“ Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

“ I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

The people answered Him,“ We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
