Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.Do not add to His words Or He will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar.

In pointing out these things to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the good doctrine which you have been following.But stay away from worthless stories that are typical of old women. Rather, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness;

“ Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take anything away from it.

Do not be quick with your mouth or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.For the dream comes through much effort, and the voice of a fool through many words.When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!It is better that you not vow, than vow and not pay.Do not let your speech cause you to sin, and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice, and destroy the work of your hands?For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, fear God.

Certainly every person walks around as a fleeting shadow; They certainly make an uproar for nothing; He amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.

by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
