For God commanded, saying,‘ Honor your father and your mother’; and,‘ He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

蓋上帝曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者、必死之、

上帝誡曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者必死之、

天主誡云、敬爾父母、又云、詈父母者必治之死、

「敬爾父母；詈父母者、死無赦；」

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’

God said,‘ Honor your father and mother.’( Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16) He also said,‘ Anyone who asks for bad things to happen to their father or mother must be put to death.’( Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9)

For God commanded,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’

For instance, God says,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and‘ Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’

For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and,‘ The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death.

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’

“ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

‘ For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him.

‘ Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

“ And he who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

Listen to your father who begot you, And do not despise your mother when she is old.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

“ If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not heed them,then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of his city.And they shall say to the elders of his city,‘ This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall put away the evil from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

‘ Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

“ Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Whoever curses his father or his mother, His lamp will be put out in deep darkness.

‘ Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’

Then Jesus said to him,“ Away with you, Satan! For it is written,‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”

To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The eye that mocks his father, And scorns obedience to his mother, The ravens of the valley will pick it out, And the young eagles will eat it.
