For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and,‘ The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

蓋上帝曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者、必死之、

上帝誡曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者必死之、

天主誡云、敬爾父母、又云、詈父母者必治之死、

「敬爾父母；詈父母者、死無赦；」

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’

God said,‘ Honor your father and mother.’( Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16) He also said,‘ Anyone who asks for bad things to happen to their father or mother must be put to death.’( Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9)

For God commanded,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’

For instance, God says,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and‘ Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’

For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.

For God commanded, saying,‘ Honor your father and your mother’; and,‘ He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death.

“ Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.

‘ If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall certainly be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and has brought his own death upon himself.

‘ Honor your father and your mother, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well for you on the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

“ And one who curses his father or his mother shall certainly be put to death.

Listen to your father, who fathered you, And do not despise your mother when she is old.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Honor your father and mother; and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

“ If any person has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father or his mother, and when they discipline him, he does not listen to them,then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.And they shall say to the elders of his city,‘ This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he does not obey us, he is thoughtless and given to drinking.’Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall eliminate the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear about it and fear.

Do we then nullify the Law through faith? Far from it! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep My Sabbaths; I am the Lord your God.

“ Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

He who curses his father or his mother, His lamp will go out in time of darkness.

‘ Cursed is one who treats his father or mother contemptuously.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

Then Jesus* said to him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ ”

To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak in accordance with this word, it is because they have no dawn.

The eye that mocks a father And scorns a mother, The ravens of the valley will pick it out, And the young eagles will eat it.
