For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

上帝誡曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者必死之、

天主誡云、敬爾父母、又云、詈父母者必治之死、

「敬爾父母；詈父母者、死無赦；」

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’

God said,‘ Honor your father and mother.’( Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16) He also said,‘ Anyone who asks for bad things to happen to their father or mother must be put to death.’( Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9)

For God commanded,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’

For instance, God says,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and‘ Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’

For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and,‘ The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood[ shall be] upon him.

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Honour thy father and[ thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and[ that], when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son[ is] stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice;[ he is] a glutton, and a drunkard.And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I[ am] the LORD your God.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach[ them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.

Cursed[ be] he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word,[ it is] because[ there is] no light in them.

The eye[ that] mocketh at[ his] father, and despiseth to obey[ his] mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
