His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”

门徒对他说：“我们在这旷野地方，哪里有足够的食物给这许多的人吃饱呢？”

门徒们说：“我们在旷野，从哪里得这么多的食物让这么大一群人吃饱呢？”

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅叫這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「在這荒野，我們到哪裡找足夠的食物給這麼多人吃呢？」

門徒對他說：“我們在這曠野地方，哪裡有足夠的食物給這許多的人吃飽呢？”

門徒對他說：『我們在這野地哪裏有這麼多餅，讓這麼多的羣眾喫飽呢？』

門徒們說：「我們在曠野，從哪裡得這麼多的食物讓這麼大一群人吃飽呢？」

門徒曰、在野安得若許之餅、以飽斯眾耶、

門徒曰、在野、安得多餅、以飽眾耶、

門徒曰、在此野地、安得多餅以飽如此之眾乎、

徒曰：『在斯曠野、安得如許餅餌、以享若眾？』

His disciples answered,“ Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”

And the disciples said to him,“ Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”

The disciples replied,“ Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to feed such a crowd?”

The disciples* said to Him,“ Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”

Then His disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”

And the disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude?

The disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to fill such a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

But Jesus answered,“ You give them something to eat.” They said to him,“ That would take more than half a year’s pay! Should we go and spend that much on bread? Are we supposed to feed them?”

His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where can anyone get enough bread to feed them?”“ How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked.“ Seven,” they replied.

Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him. So he said to Philip,“ Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?”He asked this only to test Philip. He already knew what he was going to do.Philip answered him,“ Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!”Another of his disciples spoke up. It was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He said,“ Here is a boy with five small loaves of barley bread. He also has two small fish. But how far will that go in such a large crowd?”

Jesus replied,“ You give them something to eat.” The disciples answered,“ We have only five loaves of bread and two fish. We would have to go and buy food for all this crowd.”

When it was almost evening, the disciples came to him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ It’s already getting late. Send the crowds away. They can go and buy some food in the villages.”

A man came from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread. They had been baked from the first grain that had ripened. The man also brought some heads of new grain.“ Give this food to the people to eat,” Elisha said.“ How can I put this in front of 100 men?” his servant asked. But Elisha answered,“ Give it to the people to eat. Do it because the Lord says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’ ”Then the servant put the food in front of them. They ate it and had some left over. It happened just as the Lord had said it would.

But Moses said to the Lord,“ Here I am among 600,000 men on the march. And you say,‘ I will give them meat to eat for a whole month’!Would they have enough if flocks and herds were killed for them? Would they have enough even if all the fish in the ocean were caught for them?”
