The disciples said to him,“ Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅叫這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒們說：「我們在曠野，從哪裡得這麼多的食物讓這麼大一群人吃飽呢？」

門徒曰、在野安得若許之餅、以飽斯眾耶、

門徒曰、在此野地、安得多餅以飽如此之眾乎、

徒曰：『在斯曠野、安得如許餅餌、以享若眾？』

His disciples answered,“ Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”

His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”

And the disciples said to him,“ Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”

The disciples replied,“ Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to feed such a crowd?”

The disciples* said to Him,“ Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”

Then His disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”

And the disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude?

But he answered them,“ You give them something to eat.” And they said,“ Should we go and buy bread for two hundred silver coins and give it to them to eat?”

His disciples answered him,“ Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”He asked them,“ How many loaves do you have?” They replied,“ Seven.”

Then Jesus, when he looked up and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, said to Philip,“ Where can we buy bread so that these people may eat?”( Now Jesus said this to test him, for he knew what he was going to do.)Philip replied,“ Two hundred silver coins worth of bread would not be enough for them, for each one to get a little.”One of Jesus’ disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,“ Here is a boy who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what good are these for so many people?”

But he said to them,“ You give them something to eat.” They replied,“ We have no more than five loaves and two fish– unless we go and buy food for all these people.”

When evening arrived, his disciples came to him saying,“ This is an isolated place and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

Now a man from Baal Shalisha brought some food for the prophet– twenty loaves of bread made from the firstfruits of the barley harvest, as well as fresh ears of grain. Elisha said,“ Set it before the people so they may eat.”But his attendant said,“ How can I feed a hundred men with this?” He replied,“ Set it before the people so they may eat, for this is what the LORD says,‘ They will eat and have some left over.’”So he set it before them; they ate and had some left over, just as the LORD predicted.

Moses said,“ The people around me are 600,000 on foot; but you say,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat for a whole month.’Would they have enough if the flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”
