The disciples* said to Him,“ Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”

门徒说：“我们在这野地，哪里有这么多的饼叫这许多人吃饱呢？”

门徒对他说：“我们在这旷野地方，哪里有足够的食物给这许多的人吃饱呢？”

门徒们说：“我们在旷野，从哪里得这么多的食物让这么大一群人吃饱呢？”

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅叫這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「在這荒野，我們到哪裡找足夠的食物給這麼多人吃呢？」

門徒對他說：“我們在這曠野地方，哪裡有足夠的食物給這許多的人吃飽呢？”

門徒對他說：『我們在這野地哪裏有這麼多餅，讓這麼多的羣眾喫飽呢？』

門徒們說：「我們在曠野，從哪裡得這麼多的食物讓這麼大一群人吃飽呢？」

門徒曰、在野安得若許之餅、以飽斯眾耶、

門徒曰、在野、安得多餅、以飽眾耶、

門徒曰、在此野地、安得多餅以飽如此之眾乎、

徒曰：『在斯曠野、安得如許餅餌、以享若眾？』

His disciples answered,“ Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”

His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”

And the disciples said to him,“ Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”

The disciples replied,“ Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to feed such a crowd?”

Then His disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”

And the disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude?

The disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to fill such a crowd?”

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

The disciples said to him,“ Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

But He answered them,“ You give them something to eat!” And they* said to Him,“ Shall we go and spend two hundred denarii on bread, and give it to them to eat?”

And His disciples replied to Him,“ Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”And He was asking them,“ How many loaves do you have?” And they said,“ Seven.”

So Jesus, after raising His eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him,* said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat?”But He was saying this only to test him, for He Himself knew what He intended to do.Philip answered Him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not enough for them, for each to receive just a little!”One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,* said to Him,“ There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are these for so many people?”

But He said to them,“ You give them something to eat!” But they said,“ We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless perhaps we go and buy food for all these people.”

Now when it was evening, the disciples came to Him and said,“ This place is secluded and the hour is already past to eat; send the crowds away, so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

Now a man came from Baal shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh grain in his sack. And Elisha said,“ Give them to the people that they may eat.”But his attendant said,“ How am I to serve this to a hundred men?” Nevertheless he said,“ Give them to the people that they may eat, for this is what the Lord says:‘ They shall eat and have some left over.’ ”So he served it to them, and they ate and had some left over, in accordance with the word of the Lord.

But Moses said,“ The people, among whom I am included, are six hundred thousand on foot! Yet You have said,‘ I will give them meat, so that they may eat for a whole month.’Are flocks and herds to be slaughtered for them, so that it will be sufficient for them? Or are all the fish of the sea to be caught for them, so that it will be sufficient for them?”
