路司得城有一個雙腳無力的人，坐在那裡。他生來就是瘸腿的，從來沒有走過路。他聽保羅講道；保羅注視他，見他有信心，可以治好，就大聲說：“你起來，兩腳站直！”他就跳起來，並且走起路來。

眾人非常驚訝說：“他所作的一切事都好極了；他竟然使聾子聽見，又使啞巴說話。”

他立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，頌讚神。眾人看見這事，也讚美神。

在那裡雅各建了一座壇，給它起名叫伊利．伊羅伊．以色列。

那人就起來，立刻拿著褥子，當眾出去了。眾人都非常驚奇，頌讚神，說：“我們從來沒有見過這樣的事。”

有一個生來瘸腿的人被人抬來。他們天天把他放在那名叫美門的殿門口，讓他好向進殿的人討飯。他看見彼得和約翰將要進殿，就向他們討飯。彼得和約翰定睛看著他，彼得說：“你看我們！”那人就留意看著他們，希望從他們得些甚麼。彼得卻說：“金銀我都沒有，只把我有的給你：我奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名，吩咐你行走！”於是拉著他的右手，扶他起來；他的腳和踝骨立刻強壯有力，他一跳就站了起來，並且行走。他連走帶跳，讚美神，同他們進入殿中。群眾看見他一邊走一邊讚美神；他們一認出他就是那平時坐在聖殿美門口討飯的，就因他所經歷的事，滿心希奇，驚訝不已。那人拉著彼得和約翰的時候，群眾都很驚奇，跑到他們那裡，就是所羅門廊的下面。

在患難的日子，你呼求我。我必搭救你，你也必尊敬我。”

內中有一個人見自己已經好了，就回來大聲頌讚神，在耶穌腳前把臉伏在地上感謝他。他是一個撒瑪利亞人。耶穌說：“潔淨了的不是有十個人嗎？那九個在哪裡？除了這外族人，再沒有一個回來頌讚神嗎？”

殿裡的瞎子和瘸腿的都走過來，耶穌就醫好他們。

凡是以感謝為祭獻上的，就是尊敬我；那預備道路的，我必使他得見神的救恩。”

眾人都驚懼，頌讚神說：“有偉大的先知在我們中間興起來了！”又說：“神眷顧他的子民了！”
