As they got out of the boat, people immediately recognized him.They hurried throughout that region and began to carry the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.Wherever he went, into villages, towns, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch just the end of his robe. And everyone who touched it was healed.

God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands,so that even facecloths or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out of them.

As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them.In addition, a multitude came together from the towns surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

When evening came, after the sun had set, they brought to him all those who were sick and demon-possessed.The whole town was assembled at the door,and he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

When the men of that place recognized him, they alerted the whole vicinity and brought to him all who were sick.They begged him that they might only touch the end of his robe, and as many as touched it were healed.

After coming down with them, he stood on a level place with a large crowd of his disciples and a great number of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon.They came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those tormented by unclean spirits were made well.The whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power was coming out from him and healing them all.

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped.Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy, for water will gush in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;
