But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.

And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind;but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God.Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of fools gush out folly.

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked is perverse.

As the proverb of the ancients says,‘ Out of the wicked comes wickedness;’ but my hand will not be on you.

A worthless person, a man of iniquity, is he who walks with a perverse mouth,

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty- two months was given to him.He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven.
