Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

It was as he reclined at the table with them that he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

After he said these things and had taken some bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all of them, and after he broke it, he began to eat.

He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves. He kept giving them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised his eyes and said,“ Father, I thank you that you heard me.

Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord. Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat it, and he gives thanks to God.

Then he instructed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said,“ Take and eat it; this is my body.”Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them and said,“ Drink from it, all of you.

and when he had given thanks, broke it, and said,“ This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground. Taking the seven loaves, he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people. So they served them to the crowd.They also had a few small fish, and after he had blessed them, he said these were to be served as well.

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

And he took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said,“ This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Looking up to heaven, he sighed deeply and said to him,“ Ephphatha!”( that is,“ Be opened!”).

Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke them. He kept giving them to the disciples to set before the crowd.

Jesus said,“ Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place; so they sat down. The men numbered about five thousand.Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated— so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

As they were eating, he took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to them, and said,“ Take it; this is my body.”Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

( For about five thousand men were there.) Then he told his disciples,“ Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

After commanding the crowd to sit down on the ground,he took the seven loaves and the fish, gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
