Jesus replied,“ They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

“ If I have kept the poor from their desire, Or caused the eyes of the widow to fail,Or eaten my morsel by myself, So that the fatherless could not eat of it

There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.

For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him,“ Buy those things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.

that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,

He answered and said to them,“ He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
