How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,choosing rather to share ill treatment with God’s people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time,considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith,

So therefore whoever of you who doesn’t renounce all that he has, he can’t be my disciple.

for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Buy the truth, and don’t sell it. Get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.

But as it is written,“ Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Jesus said to him,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

All who believed were together, and had all things in common.They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,praising God, and having favor with all the people. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.

The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. A man who isolates himself pursues selfishness, and defies all sound judgment.
