留心聽智慧，專心求聰明；你若呼求明理，揚聲求聰明，尋找她，如尋找銀子，搜尋她，如搜尋寶藏，你就懂得敬畏耶和華，得以認識上帝。

在他裏面蘊藏着一切智慧和知識。

得智慧勝過得金子，選聰明強如選銀子。

因着信，摩西長大了不肯稱為法老女兒之子。他寧可和上帝的百姓一同受苦，也不願在罪中享受片刻的歡樂。他把為彌賽亞受凌辱看得比埃及的財物更寶貴，因為他想望所要得的賞賜。

只是我先前以為對我是有益的，我現在因基督的緣故而當作是有損的。不但如此，我已把萬事當作是有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要贏得基督，並且得以在他裏面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，而是有信基督的義，就是基於信，從上帝而來的義，

這樣，你們無論甚麼人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的門徒。」

因為你的財寶在哪裏，你的心也在哪裏。」

你當獲得真理，不可出賣，智慧、訓誨和聰明也是一樣。

他聽見這些話，就很憂愁，因為他很富有。耶穌見他變得很憂愁，就說：「有錢財的人進上帝的國是何等的難哪！

凡為我的名撇下房屋，或是兄弟、姊妹、父親、母親、兒女、田地的，將得着百倍，並且承受永生。

於是彼得回應，對他說：「看哪，我們已經撇下一切跟從你了，我們會得到甚麼呢？」

來！你們所有乾渴的，都當來到水邊；沒有銀錢的也可以來。你們都來，買了吃；不用銀錢，不付代價，就可買酒和奶。

我勸你向我買從火中鍛鍊出來的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥抹你的眼睛，使你能看見。

如經上所記：「上帝為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。」只有上帝藉着聖靈把這事向我們顯明了；因為聖靈參透萬事，就是上帝深奧的事也參透了。

耶穌說：「你若願意作完全人，去變賣你所擁有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；然後來跟從我。」

信的人都聚在一處，凡物公用，又賣了田產和家業，照每一個人所需要的分給他們。他們天天同心合意恆切地在聖殿裏敬拜，且在家中擘餅，存着歡喜坦誠的心用飯，讚美上帝，得全體百姓的喜愛。主將得救的人天天加給他們。

耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好比人撒好種在田裏，

他就急忙下來，歡歡喜喜地接待耶穌。眾人看見，都私下議論說：「他竟然到罪人家裏去住宿。」撒該站着對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若勒索了誰，就還他四倍。」

因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在上帝裏面。基督是你們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同在榮耀裏顯現。

你們同情那些遭監禁的人，也欣然忍受你們的家業被人搶去，因為你們知道自己有更美好更長存的家業。

許多信徒都一心一意，沒有一人說他的任何東西是自己的，都是大家公用。使徒以大能見證主耶穌復活；眾人也都蒙了大恩。他們當中沒有一個缺乏的，因為凡有田產房屋的都賣了，把所賣的錢拿來，放在使徒腳前，照每人所需要的，分給每人。

愚昧人既無知，為何手拿銀錢去買智慧呢？

從前所寫的聖經都是為教導我們寫的，要使我們藉着忍耐和因聖經所生的安慰，得着盼望。

耶穌對他們說：「我就是生命的糧。到我這裏來的，絕不飢餓；信我的，永不乾渴。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道豐豐富富的存在心裏，用詩篇、讚美詩、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，以感恩的心歌頌上帝。

孤僻的人只顧自己的心願，他鄙視一切健全的知識。
