側耳聽智慧，專心求聰明，呼求明哲，揚聲求聰明，尋找它，如尋找銀子，搜求它，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。

所積蓄的一切智慧知識，都在他裏面藏着。

得智慧勝似得金子；選聰明強如選銀子。

摩西因着信，長大了就不肯稱為法老女兒之子。他寧可和神的百姓同受苦害，也不願暫時享受罪中之樂。他看為基督受的凌辱比埃及的財物更寶貴，因他想望所要得的賞賜。

只是我先前以為與我有益的，我現在因基督都當作有損的。不但如此，我也將萬事當作有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得着基督；並且得以在他裏面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，乃是有信基督的義，就是因信神而來的義，

這樣，你們無論甚麼人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的門徒。」

因為你的財寶在哪裏，你的心也在那裏。」

你當買真理；就是智慧、訓誨，和聰明也都不可賣。

他聽見這話，就甚憂愁，因為他很富足。耶穌看見他，就說：「有錢財的人進神的國是何等的難哪！

凡為我的名撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姊妹、父親、母親、兒女、田地的，必要得着百倍，並且承受永生。

彼得就對他說：「看哪，我們已經撇下所有的跟從你，將來我們要得甚麼呢？」

你們一切乾渴的都當就近水來；沒有銀錢的也可以來。你們都來，買了吃；不用銀錢，不用價值，也來買酒和奶。

我勸你向我買火煉的金子，叫你富足；又買白衣穿上，叫你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥擦你的眼睛，使你能看見。

如經上所記：神為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。只有神藉着聖靈向我們顯明了，因為聖靈參透萬事，就是神深奧的事也參透了。

耶穌說：「你若願意作完全人，可去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要來跟從我。」

信的人都在一處，凡物公用，並且賣了田產、家業，照各人所需用的分給各人。他們天天同心合意恆切地在殿裏，且在家中擘餅，存着歡喜、誠實的心用飯，讚美神，得眾民的喜愛。主將得救的人天天加給他們。

耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像人撒好種在田裏，

他就急忙下來，歡歡喜喜地接待耶穌。眾人看見，都私下議論說：「他竟到罪人家裏去住宿。」撒該站着對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若訛詐了誰，就還他四倍。」

因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裏面。基督是我們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裏。

因為你們體恤了那些被捆鎖的人，並且你們的家業被人搶去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美長存的家業。

那許多信的人都是一心一意的，沒有一人說他的東西有一樣是自己的，都是大家公用。使徒大有能力，見證主耶穌復活；眾人也都蒙大恩。內中也沒有一個缺乏的；因為人人將田產房屋都賣了，把所賣的價銀拿來，放在使徒腳前，照各人所需用的，分給各人。

愚昧人既無聰明，為何手拿價銀買智慧呢？

從前所寫的聖經都是為教訓我們寫的，叫我們因聖經所生的忍耐和安慰可以得着盼望。

耶穌說：「我就是生命的糧。到我這裏來的，必定不餓；信我的，永遠不渴。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。

與眾寡合的，獨自尋求心願，並惱恨一切真智慧。
