侧耳聆听智慧，倾心渴慕悟性；你若呼求洞见，竭力追求悟性，寻它如寻银子，找它如找宝藏，你就会懂得敬畏耶和华，认识上帝。

一切智慧和知识都蕴藏在祂里面。

得智慧胜过得黄金，获悟性胜过获白银。

摩西长大成人后，凭信心拒绝做法老之女的儿子，宁愿与上帝的子民一同受苦，也不肯享受一时的罪中之乐。在他眼中，为基督所受的凌辱远比埃及的财富更有价值，因为他盼望的是将来的赏赐。

但是为了基督，我从前以为有价值的，现在认为毫无价值。不但如此，我看万事都毫无价值，因为认识我主基督耶稣最宝贵。我为祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切视为垃圾，好得到基督，与祂联合。我成为义人不是因为遵行律法，而是因为信靠基督。这义从上帝而来，以信为基础。

“同样，你们若不撇下一切，就不能做我的门徒。

要知道，你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在哪里。

要买真理、智慧、教诲和悟性，不可卖掉。

那人听了，极其忧愁，因为他非常富有。耶稣见状，就说；“有钱人进上帝的国真难啊！

无论谁为我的名而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、儿女或田地，都要得到百倍的赏赐，而且承受永生。

彼得问道：“你看，我们已经撇下一切来跟从你了，将来会有什么奖赏呢？”

耶和华说：“口渴的人啊，来喝水吧！没有钱的人啊，来买东西吃吧！买酒买奶都不用付钱。

我劝你向我买精炼的金子，使你真正富有。你也要向我买白袍穿在身上，好遮盖你赤身露体的羞辱。你也要向我买眼药抹眼睛，使你能看见。

正如圣经上说：“上帝为爱祂的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾见过，耳朵未曾听闻，人心也未曾想到的。”然而，上帝借着圣灵将这一切启示给我们，因为圣灵洞悉万事，连上帝深奥的事都了如指掌。

耶稣告诉他：“如果你想做到纯全，就去变卖所有的产业，送给穷人，你就必有财宝存在天上，然后你来跟从我。”

信徒聚在一起，共用所有的东西。他们把田产家业变卖了，按照各人的需要把钱分给大家。他们天天同心合意地聚集在圣殿里敬拜上帝，又在各人家中掰饼聚会，以欢喜、慷慨的心分享食物，赞美上帝，受到众人的喜爱。主使得救的人数与日俱增。

耶稣又给他们讲了一个比喻，说：“天国就像一个人，将好种子撒在田里。

撒该连忙爬下来，兴高采烈地带耶稣回家。百姓见状，都埋怨说：“祂怎么到一个罪人家里作客？”撒该站起来对主说：“主啊，我要把我一半的财产分给穷人。我欺骗过谁，就还谁四倍。”

因为你们的旧生命已经死了，你们的新生命与基督一同藏在上帝里面。基督就是你们的新生命，祂显现的时候，你们也必和祂一起在荣耀中显现。

你们体恤那些坐牢的人，即使你们的家业被抢夺，仍然甘心忍受，因为你们知道自己有更美的、永远长存的家业。

当时所有信徒都同心合意，共用所有的东西，没有人说他的财物只属于自己。使徒充满能力，继续为主耶稣复活的事做见证，上帝也赐下极大的恩典给众人。信徒都一无所缺，因为大家卖掉房屋田产，把所得的钱交给使徒，照各人的需要分配给各人。

愚人无心求智慧，手中有钱有何用？

从前写在圣经上的话都是为了教导我们，使我们靠着忍耐和圣经的鼓励而有盼望。

耶稣说：“我就是生命的粮，到我这里来的人必定不饿，信我的人必永远不渴。

要将基督的话丰丰富富地存在心里，用各样智慧彼此教导，互相劝诫，以感恩的心用诗篇、圣乐、灵歌颂赞上帝。

孤傲者独善其身，他恼恨一切真知。
