Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more– or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”And the one seated on the throne said:“ Look! I am making all things new!” Then he said to me,“ Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.”

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for star differs from star in glory.It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable.It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So also it is written,“ The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life- giving spirit.However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly.And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen,“ Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

I tell you, from now on I will not drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?

Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God– the All- Powerful– and the Lamb are its temple.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me,

So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
