The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works.Everyone who has been born of God does not sin, because his seed remains in him; he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God.This is how God’s children and the devil’s children become obvious. Whoever does not do what is right is not of God, especially the one who does not love his brother or sister.

and said,“ You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery, you son of the devil and enemy of all that is right. Won’t you ever stop perverting the straight paths of the Lord?

When anyone hears the word about the kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the one sown along the path.

For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame; and they are focused on earthly things.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is.

that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and came to truly appreciate God’s grace.

Yet the LORD was pleased to crush him severely. When you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand, the LORD’s pleasure will be accomplished.

By his own choice, he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

because you have been born again— not of perishable seed but of imperishable— through the living and enduring word of God.

and repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Their descendants will serve him; the next generation will be told about the Lord.

This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

But I ask,“ Did they not hear?” Yes, they did: Their voice has gone out to the whole earth, and their words to the ends of the world.

Then he said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;they will pick up snakes; if they should drink anything deadly, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”So the Lord Jesus, after speaking to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word by the accompanying signs.]

Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with the eternal gospel to announce to the inhabitants of the earth— to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
