此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:“ I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will declare things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

我要開口說比喻，我要解開古時的謎語，

又使眾人都明白甚麼是歷代以來隱藏在創造萬物之上帝裏的奧祕，

我們講的是從前隱藏的、上帝奧祕的智慧，就是上帝在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的智慧；

惟有上帝能照我所傳的福音和所講的耶穌基督，並照歷代以來隱藏的奧祕的啟示，堅固你們。這奧祕如今顯示出來，而且按着永生上帝的命令，藉眾先知的書指示萬民，使他們因信而順服。

基督是上帝在創世以前所預知，而在這末世才為你們顯現的。你們也因着他而信那使他從死人中復活、又給他榮耀的上帝，好讓你們的信心和盼望都在於上帝。

父啊，我在哪裏，願你所賜給我的人也同我在哪裏，使他們看見你所賜給我的榮耀，因為創世以前，你已經愛我了。

於是王要向他右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國。

這奧祕在以前的世代沒有讓人知道，像如今藉着聖靈向他的聖使徒和先知啟示一樣，

主耶和華不會做任何事情，除非先將奧祕指示他的僕人眾先知。

我照上帝為你們所賜我的職分作了教會的僕役，要把上帝的道傳得完滿；這道就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕，但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。

這真理是在盼望那無謊言的上帝在萬古之先所應許的永生，到了適當的時機，藉着傳揚福音，把他的道顯明了；這傳揚的責任是按着我們的救主上帝的命令交託給我的－

看哪，先前的事已經成就，現在我要指明新事，告訴你們尚未發生的事。

凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在被殺羔羊的生命冊上的人都要拜牠。

在他們身上，正應驗了以賽亞的預言：『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白，看了又看，卻看不清。

上帝救了我們，以聖召召我們，不是按我們的行為，而是按他的旨意和恩典；這恩典是萬古之先在基督耶穌裏賜給我們的，但如今藉着我們的救主基督耶穌的顯現已經表明出來；他把死廢去，藉着福音，將不朽的生命彰顯出來。

我要側耳聽比喻，用琴解謎語。

查考在他們心裏的基督的靈預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指甚麼時候，甚麼樣的情況。他們得了啟示，知道他們所服事的不是自己，而是你們。那藉着從天上差來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事傳給你們；這些事連天使也都切望察看呢！

在審判的時候，推羅和西頓所受的，比你們還容易受呢！

你曾看見的獸，以前有，現在沒有，將來要從無底坑裏上來，又歸於沉淪。凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的人看見那隻獸都要詫異，因為牠以前有，現在沒有，以後再有。

這事發生是要應驗先知所說的話：「要對錫安的兒女說：看哪，你的王來到你這裏，謙和地騎着驢，騎着小驢－驢的駒子。」

古時候，上帝藉着眾先知多次多方向列祖說話，
