A little leaven leavens the whole batch of dough.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch of dough?Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new unleavened batch, as indeed you are. For Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed.

So Abraham hurried into the tent and said to Sarah,“ Quick! Knead three measures of fine flour and make bread.”

Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.

“ I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his own, but he will speak whatever he hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.He who calls you is faithful; he will do it.

For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.Do everything without grumbling and arguing,so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world,

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

He presented another parable to them:“ The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.

Every branch in me that does not produce fruit he removes, and he prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.

If the Lord had not cut those days short, no one would be saved. But he cut those days short for the sake of the elect, whom he chose.

Yet the righteous person will hold to his way, and the one whose hands are clean will grow stronger.
