乃多方設喻而訓之曰：『有農人出而播種、

Then he told them many things in parables, saying:“ A farmer went out to sow his seed.

耶穌多方設譬而誨之曰：『爾其諦聽：有農人出而播種、播時、其種有落道旁者、飛鳥至而啄之；有落礩地薄土者、正以積壤不深、其苗勃然而興、日出曝之、則苗槁矣、無根故也；有落於荊棘中者、荊棘長而蔽之、生機阻塞、遂以不實；有落於沃土者、漸興漸長、結實累累、有三十倍者、有六十倍者、有百倍者。』又曰：『凡有耳者、可諦聽矣！』

耶穌設譬畢、起行、

若輩知此喻射己、欲起而捕之、惟心畏群眾、遂離去。

此等妙喻、不可勝述。蓋耶穌為眾講道、

又曰：『斯譬之意、豈爾等亦不明耶？則又安足以喻眾譬乎？

凡此皆耶穌訓眾時所設譬喻、非譬不言。此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

『昔有播種者、出而播種；種有落道旁者、行人踐之、飛鳥啄之；有落磽确者、以地無澤潤、旋茁旋槁；有落荊棘中者、荊棘叢生、卒被掩蔽；有落沃土者、發榮滋長、結實百倍。』諭畢、揚聲而呼曰：『凡有耳者、其諦聽焉！』

門徒進曰：『夫子訓眾、必以譬喻何也？』耶穌曰：『天國之蘊奧、賜爾知之、不賜若輩；誠以有者益之、使沛然充溢、而無者並奪其所有。若輩視而不見、聽而不聞、冥頑不悟、故以譬喻訓之。

爾可於鳳菓樹習一教訓：方其枝柔葉綠、知夏令在邇；

伯鐸祿曰：『主設此喻、為吾儕乎？抑為眾人乎？』

予向以譬喻教爾、惟時即至、予將不復設譬、必欲明白曉暢、以父示爾。

耶穌設喻以曉之曰：『人有百羊、而亡其一、焉有不暫留其九十九於野、而覓其所亡、期在必獲者乎？既獲、則忻然肩之而歸、召其鄰友曰：「亡羊已獲、胥其與吾同樂。」故予語爾、一罪人回頭、其慰悅天心、有逾於九十九善人之無庸悔改者焉。

耶穌招之來、設譬以喻之曰：『夫沙殫安能卻沙殫哉？

耶穌設譬訓眾曰：『人有經營葡萄園者、藩之以籬、掘酒池、建高樓、乃租於園戶；而己則出遊國外。

耶穌又設喻訓眾曰：

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

啟脣設譬。發古之蘊。

吾言具眞慧。平生涵玄默。
