他對他們說：『是有個敵人行了這事的。』奴僕對他說：『那你願意我們去薅出來麼？』

主人说：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人说：‘你要我们去薅出来吗？’

主人回答他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人对他说：‘你要我们去拔掉吗？’

主人回答他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’仆人对他说：‘你要我们去拔掉吗？’

“主人回答说，‘这是仇敌做的。’奴仆问道，‘要我们去拔掉它们吗？’

他回答：‘这是仇敌所作的。’仆人问他：‘你要我们去拔掉它吗？’

“主人告诉他们：‘这是仇敌做的。’“奴仆问：‘那么，你要我们去把稗子拔掉吗？’

主人說：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人說：『你要我們去薅出來嗎？』

主人回答他們：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人對他說：『你要我們去拔掉嗎？』

主人回答他們：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人對他說：『你要我們去拔掉嗎？』

「主人回答說，『這是仇敵做的。』奴僕問道，『要我們去拔掉它們嗎？』

他回答：‘這是仇敵所作的。’僕人問他：‘你要我們去拔掉它嗎？’

「主人告訴他們：『這是仇敵做的。』「奴僕問：『那麼，你要我們去把稗子拔掉嗎？』

曰、敵為之、僕曰、我往薅之、可乎、

曰、此敵人所為也、僕曰、爾欲我往耘之乎、

主人對曰：「讐人所為也。」傭曰：「吾儕即往薅之如何？」

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he replied.“ The servants asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he replied.“ The slaves asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and pull up the weeds?’

He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him,‘ Then do you want us to go and gather them?’

“‘ An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.“‘ Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.

“‘ An enemy did this,’ he told them.“‘ So, do you want us to go and pull them up?’ the servants asked him.

And he said to them,‘ An enemy has done this!’ The slaves* said to him,‘ Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’

He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him,‘ Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’

And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

“‘ An enemy did this!’ he told them.“‘ So, do you want us to go and gather them up?’ the slaves asked him.

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

He said,‘ An enemy has done this.’ So the slaves replied,‘ Do you want us to go and gather them?’

“ He said to them,‘ An enemy has done this.’“ The servants asked him,‘ Do you want us to go and gather them up?’

就我個人來說，我身體雖不在你們那裏，心靈卻和你們同在。我好像已經在你們那裏，奉我們主耶穌的名判斷幹這樣事的人了。你們聚集的時候，我的心靈、帶着我們主耶穌的權能、也一同聚集，把這樣的人放給撒但，去讓他的肉體死滅，好讓他的靈在主的日子得以獲救。你們的自誇真不好。豈不曉得一點麵酵能使全團都發起酵來麼？把舊酵除淨吧，好成為新和的團，正像你們是無酵的一樣。因為我們逾越節的羔羊已經宰獻為祭了，就是基督。

弟兄們，我們勸你們、對游手好閒的人要勸戒，對灰心的人要撫慰，對軟弱的人要扶持，對眾人要恆忍。

約翰應時說：『老師，我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼，我們就禁止他，因為他不是和我們一同跟從你的。』耶穌對他說：『別禁止了，因為不敵你們的、就是助你們。』耶穌被接上升的日子將要到了，就硬着頭皮、面向耶路撒冷走去，又差遣使者在他前面。他們就去，進了撒瑪利亞的一個村莊、要為他豫備。那裏的人卻不接待他，因為他面向着耶路撒冷走去。他的門徒雅各約翰看見了，就說：『主啊，你願意我們吩咐火從天上降下來，燒滅他們麼？』

這樣的人受了多數人的責罰、也足夠了；倒不如饒恕勸慰他好，恐怕這樣的人被過度的憂愁所吞滅。所以我勸你們要用確實的證據向他表示你們的愛心。我先前寫信給你們，正是要知道你們被試驗的品德是不是凡事聽從的。你們饒恕誰甚麼，我也饒恕；我所饒恕的、如果我饒恕過甚麼、我是為你們的緣故代表基督而饒恕的，免得我們給撒但佔了便宜去，因為他的心意、我們不是不知道的。

有些人存疑心，你們要憐恤；要拯救、從火中攫出；有些人、你們要存着畏懼的心去憐恤；連那由肉體沾污的裏衣、你們也要恨惡。
