家傭謂主人曰：「主所播於斯田者、非佳種乎？顧荑稗何自而來耶？」

“ The owner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

“ The owner’s slaves came to him. They said,‘ Sir, didn’t you plant good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him,‘ Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’

“ The farmer’s workers went to him and said,‘ Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’

The landowner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

So the servants of the owner came and said to him,‘ sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares?

The landowner’s slaves came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

The servants of the householder came and said to him,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he has no reason to be afraid while among you, for he is doing the Lord’s work, as I also am.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they?

but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in difficulties,

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

For I have been informed concerning you, my brothers and sisters, by Chloe’s people, that there are quarrels among you.Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying,“ I am with Paul,” or“ I am with Apollos,” or“ I am with Cephas,” or“ I am with Christ.”Has Christ been divided? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised;and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain.Moreover, we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised;and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.If we have hoped in Christ only in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.But the fact is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.For since by a man death came, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming,then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to our God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.The last enemy that will be abolished is death.For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says,“ All things are put in subjection,” it is clear that this excludes the Father who put all things in subjection to Him.When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.For otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?Why are we also in danger every hour?I affirm, brothers and sisters, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily.If from human motives I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what good is it to me? If the dead are not raised, let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.Do not be deceived:“ Bad company corrupts good morals.”Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;

What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one.I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.Now the one who plants and the one who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
