“ The owner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

“ The owner’s slaves came to him. They said,‘ Sir, didn’t you plant good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him,‘ Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’

“ The farmer’s workers went to him and said,‘ Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’

The landowner’s servants came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And the slaves of the landowner came and said to him,‘ Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’

So the servants of the owner came and said to him,‘ sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’

And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares?

The landowner’s slaves came to him and said,‘ Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

The servants of the householder came and said to him,‘ Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. (niv)

When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am. (niv)

But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. Such“ wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. (niv)

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. (niv)

You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? (niv)

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (niv)

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe— as the Lord has assigned to each his task.I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.For we are co- workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
