The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked[ one];

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let[ them] slip.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words,[ saying],How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,[ and] apply thine heart to understanding;Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,[ and] liftest up thy voice for understanding;If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as[ for] hid treasures;Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth[ cometh] knowledge and understanding.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Wherefore[ is there] a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing[ he hath] no heart[ to it]?

The fear of the LORD[ is] the beginning of knowledge:[ but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

But if it be a question of words and names, and[ of] your law, look ye[ to it]; for I will be no judge of such[ matters].

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this[ matter].

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

And even as they did not like to retain God in[ their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Why do ye not understand my speech?[ even] because ye cannot hear my word.

And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh[ and] intermeddleth with all wisdom.A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.And because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked[ him] whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
