But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

Then He turned to His disciples and said privately,“ Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.”

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to him,“ Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

“ Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word;For my eyes have seen Your salvation
