Then turning to His disciples He said privately,“ The eyes that see the things you see are blessed!For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see yet didn’t see them; to hear the things you hear yet didn’t hear them.”

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints,

And Jesus responded,“ Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven.

For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said,“ Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Those who believe without seeing are blessed.”

to open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that by faith in Me they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified.’

“ The poor in spirit are blessed, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.Those who mourn are blessed, for they will be comforted.The gentle are blessed, for they will inherit the earth.Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed, for they will be filled.The merciful are blessed, for they will be shown mercy.The pure in heart are blessed, for they will see God.The peacemakers are blessed, for they will be called sons of God.Those who are persecuted for righteousness are blessed, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.“ You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me.

Now, Master, You can dismiss Your slave in peace, as You promised.For my eyes have seen Your salvation.
