This is why I speak to them in parables:“ Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

如言我福音不明、則惟自棄者不明之、即世之上帝、惑不信者心、使肖上帝之基督福音之榮、不光照焉、

維彼不識不知、其目若塗以泥、其心不明、

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、作不善者惡光、而不就光、恐所行見責、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、在旁之𠵽唎㘔人聞此、則曰、我儕亦瞽乎、耶穌曰、爾瞽則無罪、今言能見、則爾罪尚在矣、

爾曹耳聾者宜聽、心盲者宜視、爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、雖熟視若無睹、雖諦聽而不聞、

然爾目有福矣、以其得見也、爾耳有福矣、以其得聞也、

耶穌知之曰、曷以無餅議乎、爾猶未知未悟歟、心猶頑耶、爾有目不視、有耳不聽、亦不憶乎、
