Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him,“ Are we blind also?”Jesus said to them,“ If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say,‘ We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.

the great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great wonders.Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

“ Hear, you deaf; And look, you blind, that you may see.Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the LORD’s servant?Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but he does not hear.”

But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;

But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them,“ Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened?Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?
